Intelligent Races of Khir Khira

These are the races which make up Khir Khira. I will try and explain everything that I feel is useful about each of the different races as well as the location that they inhabit in the world of Khir Khira.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The Humans...
The humans came to Khir Khira long ago as the refugees of a dying world. They had stumbled upon the other races, which surprised them for the most part, as they had thought the world was uninhabited. There was an error on the side of diplomacy, and the native races ceased their own struggles against each other (goblins/orcs vs elves/dwarves), and attempted to push out the invaders.
But the humans had brought with them the all powerful sorcerers which had transported them to this land. Using insanely powerful magic, they defeated the native races. The goblins and orcs were scattered, and the elves and dwarves vanished from the world forever.
A long story, but basically, the sorcerors left the refugees, vanishing themselves for a long time, almost to punish themselves for what they had done. They reemerged several generations later as The Circle of Spellcasters; who were now the deities of this world.
Technology became a pinnacle of Khir Khiran society. The advent of the airship saw a new beginning for trade, commerce and exploration.  People attempted to make life easier with magical and technological hybrids. They finally gave birth to ideas long harbored by their atrophied ingenuity.
Gandoran, a former member of the Circle, also made his appearance with the Crystal of Kendora, with which he used to create several new races and strengthen the goblins and orcs. The war was long lived. Over a century in fact, but was won by the Khir Khirans, and the allied nation of Elementia.
Khir Khirans are resourceful. They're found all over the world, and in all shades of skin color. Most Khir Khirans have a strong dislike for the goblins and the orcs, and are very close minded when it comes to other races. However, they do not discriminate on the basis of skin color. They don't worship any one -god-, but they do worship the Circle. And there are several temples set up for specific members.
The humans are also very structured, to go along with their affinity for creating gadgets and working gizmos. The air forces mostly use light weapons such as sabres, rapiers and pistols. Most like the swashbucking periods. Exploration. The ground forces are more medieval. Here, you will find heavy armor and weapons, siege weapons and the like. Most often, these are used to compliment one another.
The Goblins...
The goblins are very different from most goblins portrayed in most fictional worlds and game systems. First of all, while they are green, they aren't completely malformed, or goblinish. They have green skin, which is smooth, and they're basically like thin wirey humans, who are, on average, 5'5" or 5'6".
Gandoran's magic increased the intelligence and the dexterity of this race by far. They became his thinkers and his planners in the war against the humans. And his airforce.
The Goblin Skreamer is a medieval/magical/technilogical wonder, which is akin to a supersonic jet. It is equipped with twin rapid fire flame cannons, and is used primarily in countering the humans air ships. While it has been known to be used rather successfully against ground targets as well.
The Goblins don't have as well constructed airships to match the Khir Khiran's, however, and the Skreamers are probably the only technology which is a true threat to any of the craft, unless they have the advantage of numbers.
After the war with the humans ended, the Goblins found themselves quite lacking in numbers, having lost several to the Elementians, and the Khir Khiran clean-up squads. They were scattered across the landscape with their ally, the orcs, where they formed small raiding communities, building up their air forces in quiet.
The settlements are scattered, but mostly found away from Khiranseth. Some are said to have set up townships in the desert, but these rumors are unsubstantiated.
The goblins are structured using rank. They control the orcs as their workforce. They manipulate them, however, so that the orcs remain happy and blissful in the thought that they are the dominant ones.
The goblins aren't evil, despite popular opinion. But neither are they good. They are just there to survive. The average goblin is skilled, or at least knows the basics, in tinkering. And most of them have at least -some- magical talent or inclination. Goblins look after their own interest first. They survive mostly by raiding others, such as merchant airships, or nearby settlements. When explanding, they usually send some raids of Skreamers to a populated village (if they aren't expanding to an unpopulated area), to weaken the defenses. This is followed by a force of orcs who go in and 'crush' the 'puny hoomans'.
And then the goblins move in.
The Orcs...
The orcs, unlike their cousins (neither of which race would admit the relation, however remotely), are completely 'stoopid'. Of course it's also something that they wouldn't admit, while the goblins cash in on this fact. Orcs are also green skinned, although sometimes brown skinned, but always have a wrinkled skin, and oversized lower incisors.
Brutish, boorish, rude, and insulting is the best way to describe the orcish personality. Completely unlike their more sly and manipulating goblin cousins.
Gandoran's magic altered these Khir Khiran orcs to be stronger. And to have higher constitution. They can usually take a lot of battle damage before succumbing to wounds. Of course, there's a lot to be said for a well placed sword blow. Many orcs wear crudely made armor, usually decorated with bits of bone or teeth.
They acted as the main battle hord for Gandoran's army during the war times. And to this day, remain the workhorse of the goblins.
Easily manipulated, and equally easy to anger. The orc doesn't have high aspirations, really. They think they run the alliance between the orcs and goblins. Of course, the goblins are satisfied to have them believe it. As long as they do the work.
Geographically, the orcs can be found whever the goblins can be found. As their philosophy goes: "Orcs.. never leave home without em."
The Roklar...
The Roklar are an enigma, as races go. In appearance, they are reddish skinned small 3' tall gargoyles. They have small leather batlike wings, and tiny but sharp claws on each hand and feet. Their hands have three fingers and a thumb, and their feet have four toes. They have sharp teeth. Extremely sharp. And from their lungs, they can expell a powerful ball of fire.
The Roklar were created by the magic of the Crystal of Kendora before it was shattered, by the sorceror Gandoran. They were to be his personal servants. Not his warriors. But they did, of course, need to be able to defend themselves. During the creation process, they were given a genetic default. Their race can speak only through rhyme in groups of two.
After the war, and Gandoran's death, the entire race relocated to an isolated position somewhere in the West Khir Khiran mountains.
They have little to no interest in the other races of the land, and live in a sort of structured society, with a single leader. A king. They do send out scouts occasionally, who learn about the world, as they know so little. But survival and procreation is a top priority for them.
The Aradicas...
The Aradicas race is one of the most twisted of Gandoran's creations. Half man, half spider, and all crazy. They were to supplement the orcish army and be used on the front lines. Or sent to strong points in the enemy's defense as chaos teams. They -are- completely chaotic.
The Aradicas have a strong, fast acting paralyzing poison, and resistance to most toxins as well. They have access to the poison sphere of magic, as well as some disciplines such as 'life link' and 'life drain'. With 'life link', the creature taps into the destiny of the target, and ties it in with his own. Thus.. if one dies, they both die. One feels pain, so does the other. They also have the ability to spit out poison from a distance. A paralyzing poison. Webbing can be spun from their upper four limbs, and used as a weapon to capture prey from a distance. The upper six limbs act as arms, which end in sharp jagged claws, while the lower two are legs. However, they can scuttle around on all their limbs. The Aradicas, being spiders, are also extremely adept at jumping.
The Aradicas are extremely difficult to kill. And are generally feared by those who know of them. They are intelligent, but they are completely insane, and upon seeing the death of a comrade, are just as likely to fall on their backs giggling, as to help.
Their colorations range from grey to black. They are covered with a spidery fur.
After Gandoran's death, the Aradicas basically scattered all across Khir Khira. They didn't bother to form societies, as they are mostly solitary and territorial creatures. The females are bigger and nastier, and mating between the two usually results in the death or severe maiming of the male.
They treasure shiny objects and the like, and magical items are their favorites. Well.. depending on the appearance. Anything they consider 'pretty', is worthy of adding to their stash.
The Aradi-khan...
The Aradi-khan are actually of the same race as the Aradicas. But they were nearly annihilated by Gandoran upon birth, because these creatures weren't anything like the Aradicas in the fact that they were intelligent. And they valued life and everything of the sort. They are good, and have all the powers, and appearance of the Aradicas.
But this race is more organized and structured. Their societies are located in most every geographic location that is warm and damp. They are usually not found in more than groups of 50 at a time. And in these groups, there is always an elder among them, who leads.
The Viparious...
The Viparious are a cruel and twisted race. A creation of Gandoran's foul magic. A hybrid man and snake, the creatures are usually green skinned. Their heads are that of a snake. The hands each have three fingered slender fingers which have sharp but small claws which ooze a non lethal poison. But a person scratched by them will get quite the painful rash.
They move stealthily and as though they're slithering. They are highly intelligent, and were to be used for espionage and intelligence gathering. Not to mention assassinations. Their poison from the fangs kills nearly instantly. They have access to the poison sphere of magic, and the telepathy discipline for psionics. They have the innate ability to hypnotize by sight, as well.
The Viparious, after Gandoran's death, went underground. They formed their own societies, which were to be used solely for their own good. Most of them are evil to the core, and delight in torture.
