Falyar Tar`en was born in the world of Khir Khira, a young world, which was at the time torn apart by a war between the combined forces of the orcs and goblins, led by the dark sorceror Gandoran, former member of the Circle of Spellcasters, guardians of Khir Khira. Gandoran had genetically manipulated the orcs and goblins, making them far more powerful than before. Khir Khira is a world where technology is valued more than magic, and magic is fairly expensive and hard to come by. Falyar was born and raised around airships with his family in the town of Khiran Brook. His father was a skilled privateer, and owned his own private airship, the 'Maiden Fair'. His mother and father were kind to him and taught him the way of the airship. He had one brother, Erdar Tar`en, who was his best friend at the time. His mother taught him how to sing, and Falyar practised his skills with the young ladies.
At the age of 14, Falyar went off to join the King's Imperial Air Armada to serve on an airship, the 'Grey Fox', as cabin boy. His father and mother were very proud of their son, although Erdar never forgave Falyar completely for leaving him then. Falyar was 16 when he heard the news of his family's passing... a goblin/orc raid on Khiran Brook claimed their lives. He didn't return to Khiran Brook, not granted leave by his superior officers who merely advised him to 'move on'.
Falyar steadily moved up in the ranks, and at the age of 18, he took over as captain of the'Grey Fox', a small scout ship in the fleet, the Golden Dragons. A year later, Falyar was attending a captain's banquet in Khiranseth, the capital, and met his first true love, Sherae. She was captain of a battleship known as the 'Flaming Swan'. As stated, they fell deeply in love, and her ship eventually transferred to the Golden Dragons, kind of a gift from one of Falyar's superior officers.
A year later... the Golden Dragons were moored just on the banks of the Southern Khir Khiran Peninsula. In the camp below, Falyar Tar`en proposed marriage to Sherae... and she accepted. He was overjoyed, but it was not to last... The next day, the scouts returned with word of a massive fleet of Air Pirates, let by the infamous pirate, Torr, heading towards the coastal town of Myatin. The Golden Dragons immediately went to cut off the pirates, to save the village from the raid. But they were hopelessly outnumbered.
The command ship of the Golden Dragons at that time, the 'Valiant Hawk' was destroyed, and fell into the oceans below. This caused the Golden Dragons to fall into disarray for a moment... enough time for Torr's Pirates to gain a firm hold on victory.
Sherae took charge and issued a command to retreat. She followed for a short distance, then abruptly turned her ship headlong to face the oncoming fleet. Her ship fought valiantly, but had no chance in hell of winning. The ship was surrounded, Torr's ship taking the head to deliver the final blow. The 'Flaming Swan' went down in a blaze of glory, crashing to the oceans as Falyar watched. Enraged, he abruptly turned the 'Grey Fox' to meet the charge, ignoring commands given by 2 other superior officers to resume the retreat. His ship was fast, and with the battering ram, hit Torr's command ship broadside, full force. His crew, thinking Falyar had a plan, leapt into battle.
Falyar rushed headlong into the onslaught of pirates, visciously hacking and slashing at the pirates as they approached. He had never had any formal weapons instruction, but he was already quick with the blade, and good. He fought his way to Torr, and a one on one duel ensued. Torr carried with him a magical blade forged of vorpal steel, which cleaved through ordinary weapons easily. Falyar was disarmed, but was skilled slightly in unarmed combat as well. He managed to disarm Torr, and get hold of his weapon. In a fit of rage and fury, he beheaded the pirate Torr, gaining his new weapon, the sabre, 'Torr's Bane'.
Falyar suppressed his anguish and rage over the loss of Sherae for many years. For that battle, he was hailed as a hero, for the remaining pirates scattered, and the town of Myatin was saved. Falyar attained the rank of Air Commander of the Golden Dragons, and the new Command ship, the Crimson Storm, a powerful, fast prototype was put into service to act as his flagship.
Over the years, Falyar commanded the Golden Dragons, fighting Gandoran's army. The goblins had by this time, created the powerful, fast, but very small, single manned airship, fueled by magic, goblin Skreamer.
Falyar had many adventures at that time, one of which he met Circle member Jyar of the 5th, who gave Falyar the boon of increased speed through magic, doubling his dexterity. A short while after this, the King scheduled a strategic attack against Gandoran's castle, in which Falyar Tar`en himself would bring the Crimson Storm, with a small strike force consisting of the Mage Starmaster, the Psionist, Lone Star, the 12 year old child, Tach, the Warrior, Gantro, and the Paladin, Lord Bordavin Taraye, who weilded the sword of sun, Falshaia.
Falyar dropped them off at the castle, then waited for them to emerge. They never did. Gandoran had won, and banished the party to separate worlds. He conveyed this image to Falyar, and Falyar returned sadhearted, for he had lost many friends to that battle.
2 years after the Southern Khir Khiran Sea Battle with Torr, Falyar was promoted by the King, King Mathias, to the rank of Supreme Air Commander over all the fleets in the Armada. Falyar struggled through the position, losing more battles than he won, but still the king held faith in him, seeing something in him that he himself overlooked.
Falyar became better and better, winning more and more victories, and in such a short time. A year after his promotion, Falyar and the Dragons noticed that village after village was being completely obliterated, with no survivors. The King suggested that perhaps the goblins/orcs had discovered a new secret weapon of some sort. Falyar agreed, and the Golden Dragons were equipped with a newly perfected technology, the Portal Ripper, to gate between worlds to try and find a counter to this weapon.
Falyar was given under his command the skilled Airship engineer and tinker, Zareth Tulkusan, who was to be of invaluable assistance later on. All available ships who weren't fighting on the front lines turned out to see the valiant explorers off. The ships then began a journey which lasted 3 long years, travelling from world to world, still not finding what it was they were looking for, but helped many people with their airships. He saw his first elves, gnomes, dwarves and other creatures which he had heard of only in myth, which used to exist on his homeworld.
Falyar was 26 years of age when he entered this world. He saw his first dragon, and there was a battle in which he lost one of his 13 airships, but they managed to take the strange creature down. Falyar always chose to involve himself in the lives of others, risking his own, as demonstrated in the tavern called 'The Laughing Dragon' when Morr, the god of death came to take Elladan's life. He stepped in, valiantly fighting against Morr, but to no avail. When Overon came in, as WindSoar, and assisted Morr, Falyar fought against him too, but was crippled by a blast of energy to his legs from Windsoar. Falyar watched helplessly by. But... at the end of the battle, the mage Overon healed him. Falyar gave Overon a reward in the kings name for his efforts.
Falyar and Overon became good friends... Falyar's first real friend since arriving in this world. Soon though... Falyar made the journey to Highlands Castle... where he met the Air Pirate, Sir Antonial. Falyar saw his badge proudly proclaiming him a pirate and a battle ensued. Falyar drew his pistol on Antonial, and Antonial opted to tell Falyar a story.
He told him about the reasons for the destruction of the villages. A selfish king keeping his population in check through the use of terror... and firebombs. Falyar refused to believe it, but the pirate had proof... signed documents from the king himself. Falyar was crushed... shattered... everything he had believed in was destroyed. He had journeyed to Highlands with his two friends, Marauder, and Lilith, who both became close friends to him... like a brother and a sister. He asked if they would stand with him... as he fought against the king. They agreed, and the Golden Dragons became forever known as the Vengeful Dragons. And Falyar became a pirate, later to be referred to as a privateer, by Antiron Blacksail, captain of the seagoing ship, the 'Everlost', which he gladly accepted, reminded of his father, and his roots.
Falyar Tar`en became a mercenary after that... drinking constantly, and not caring who he killed, or for what cause he pledged the aid of his airships. He merely fought to gain money so that his fleet could eat.
One day, as he was drinking at The Laughing Dragon, he happened to hear two men discussing an upcoming war. Falyar offered the assistance of his fleet, the Vengeful Dragons... for a price. The men scoffed at him, calling him a bloody merc. Falyar sank deeper into his depression. A soldier present in the tavern, Gwailena Zaratan, of elementia, stood up for Falyar, saying he was not just a bloody merc. She gave him an invitation to the Ruins of Darkshade Castle. Falyar accepted, and flew the Crimson Storm there.
They ate together, and exchanged stories about their past, Gwen telling him who she really was. Falyar sparred with her, losing terribly, then got drunk with her. They too became good friends, and Falyar was pulled from his depression a bit, reminded of who he once was. Gwailena told Falyar of her dream to rebuild Castle Darkshade, but thinking how long it would take.
Overon showed up shortly after, just before Falyar offered her the aid of his airships... for a small price, so that he might feed his men. She accepted, offering him payment in Electrum. But Overon increased her offer, handing Falyar a chest containing 6 million gold. He told Falyar to rebuild his fleet. Falyar was overjoyed, for now he could truly fight back at the king.
He searched... finally finding a large valley, surrounded on all sides by a massive mountain range, covered with forests... the perfect defensive location for an airbase. He began construction immediately. His ships were being built at an alarming rate, and soon he had over 200 ships... but they were not combat ready without magic.
After this time, the mage Overon introduced Falyar to his vault... and gave Falyar the mithril rapier, Vengeance, which had three powers at that time... Fire Blast, Force Blast, and Lighting Blast. Overon later added a forth power, which would make it glow red, allowing it to cut through nearly any material by drawing on his own life force.
There were many adventures with his new friends that followed... including him locating a gold mine at the base. A while after, he met Moriah and Darkchin, strange to him, Falyar tended not to trust Moriah, as he despised what he then called 'mindbenders' But, his fate was intertwined with hers, as the future would soon show. Shortly after the Borg incident, in which Darkchin was captured, Falyar was given the task by Moriah, of removing Celestai from her. Falyar accepted, but only because she absolutely insisted. He performed the psionic surgery flawlessly with the powers temporarily granted to him by Moriah, and Celestai was removed.
Sometime after this, Celestai came to Falyar, requesting admission into the Vengeful Dragons. Falyar accepted, and gave her the rank of Captain of Base Security. A short while later as Celestai and Falyar were about to enter his newly constructed mansion, Falyar found himself stargazing, looking towards home. Celestai saw this, and asked if there was any message he'd like delivered to anyone in particular. Falyar then told her about Sherae, and how he wished he could talk to her one last time. Celestai granted him his request, and he put his mind a little more at ease.
And so time passed... Falyar found himself one day at the Rogue's End tavern. He spoke with a seer named Tallystar. She saw in him potential which again, he himself had missed. She told him that he would one day become a noble man... and he scoffed at her. But she persisted, and kept talking to him, until finally he revealed the significance of Torr's Bane, and of his past. He also brought forth his long surpressed rage, and it showed in battles after this incident. Then... a while after, Gwen, Falyar, Lilith, and a few others ventured into the depths of the mines under the ruins, searching for a certain book (the book of majika?).
Falyar was deathly afraid of being underground, but didn't say anything. He fought against the monsters they encountered, but without heart or courage. He almost died from bloodloss as he left the mines. He was healed by Mithrandir. Soon after, he felt that he needed to go back into the mines to face his fear. He lead the group through the mines until finally falling through a weak spot in the floor. They followed, and he continued forth until they came to a great cavern in which the book they sought was, and the ghost of the pirate Torr. He encased all his companions but gwen (who was protected by the runesword) and fought one on one with Falyar once more. They were evenly matched, neither gaining the upper hand... they were both weak when Torr struck a blow, bringing Falyar to his knees. Torr moved in for the killing blow, but gwen jolted energy into Falyar with the runeblade, and Falyar blasted Torr with a bolt from his mithril rapier, killing the ghost.
Falyar had gotten over his fear a little, AND conquered a bit of his past. A while after this incident, and back to Falyar and Celestai... Celestai came to Falyar one day, saying that she was going to return to the Outer Planes... for she had nothing in this world. Falyar fully supported her in whatever choice she would make, but he kept telling her that he would miss her, and talking to her passively like that until he found out that what she wanted but didn't have was a soul.
Mithrandir showed up a short while later, and before Celestai could stop him, Falyar told Mith of Celestai's wish, and asked if Mith, being a goddess, could grant this for her. She instead enlisted the help of Lord Kerbouchard, another god, and he gave Celestai a soul. Falyar then asked Celestai if she would stay with the Vengeful Dragons, which she did. A while later... Falyar told Celestai of the rage that he now felt boiling over since his conversation with Tallystar. He told her of how he felt it best if he resign from the Vengeful Dragons. She wouldn't let him and kissed him right on the deck of the Crimson Storm. Falyar was confused, and headed for his secret spring that he had found, secluded in the mountains. She followed him, and that was where he first told her that he loved her.
At the time, she didn't give him a definate response to what he just told her, just that she 'felt something' for him as well, but was new to such emotions. Time passed, and Falyar met the vampire, Sol`Kanar in Highlands Castle. He sparred with this honorable stranger, and they became friends. But soon Falyar learned of Sol`Kanar's father... creator, rather, Lusus Notura. Sol`Kanar was not evil, and didn't like what he was, but he lived with it. Lusus Notura enjoyed what he did, and was pure evil. Lusus wanted to return Sol to the way he was. But, Falyar, Moriah and Lilith, journeyed to Lusus's castle, to find the vampire, and to kill him. They fought through the castle, to the vampire himself.
In that battle, Lilith was changed into a vampire herself. Falyar fell slightly into sorrow, for he had one clear shot with his pistol that would have saved Lilith from becoming a vampire, but he missed. Falyar flew into a rage and emptied his pistol into the vampire. Then Sol`kanar finished Lusus off. But, Lusus Notura had to be killed three times before he would be gone for good... After this battle, Lilith was returned to her human form. Then... back at the Loft (Falyar's base), Falyar and Celestai were speaking with one another, and they ended up kissing. Sol`kanar appeared, laughing and taunting them... but it was not Sol`kanar. It was Lusus Notura disguised as Sol. After he dropped this disguise, a battle ensued in which Lusus was driven off.
Falyar was constantly harrassed by the vampire, who would follow him wherever he went, taunting him. Falyar decided to hunt the vampire, and with Celestai, Lilith, Mithrandir, and Sol`Kanar, they tracked the vampire down to Highlands where he had mustered fierce support. The sides faced off in the arena, and a few attacks were exchanged... Then lusus vanished, and Falyar and his friends were drawn into Limbo, where a fierce battle between them and the vampire ensued. During the battle, Falyar was blasted with fireballs violently, struck a nearly fatal blow... Sol`Kanar expended most of his energy to save Falyar's life. The battle raged on, and Lusus Notura was killed again... then again. Falyar finished off the vampire by beheading him with Torr's Bane. After this happened, Sol`kanar opened a portal which would take them all out of Limbo. He didn't survive the journey. Falyar buried his friend at Lusus, now Sol`kanar's castle. Later on... Falyar met up with Sol`kanar once more, who was now human... Falyar didn't believe Sol`kanar when he told Falyar what happened. Lilith did, however, and Falyar grew angry with Sol. He held Torr's Bane levelled at Sol's chest. Sol`kanar dared Falyar to strike him down. Falyar was about to lower his weapon, winning against his rage, when Sol`kanar insulted his courage. Falyar plunged the weapon into Sol`kanar's chest.
Falyar was mortified by what he had done, and quickly took off in the Crimson Storm to locate help, the healer, Anahka. Falyar didn't wait to see if Sol was healed. He took off in a Drake... a small three person recon airship, and tore off his rank of Air Commander, resigning from the Vengeful Dragons. He flew to the end of the Drake's magical power reserves, and the small craft crashed in a wooded area.
He was found by Lilith, near death in the wreckage. She pulled him from the wreck. The paladin, Mithrandir happened to be passing by, and she saw this scene. She immediately healed Falyar, restoring him. Falyar then went back to the Loft where Mithrandir convinced him to stay with the Vengeful Dragons. It was shortly afterwards that Celestai finally told Falyar that she loved him as well. Also... soon, Falyar asked Lord Kerbouchard to give his airship fleet the enchantments they needed, which he did. Falyar was ready to attack his king. The attack was small... Falyar and a few companions landed Drakes a short distance from the capital, and they proceeded to the city. They fought with the king at first, and he excersised mind control on Falyar, telling him to attack his companions. Falyar attacked Mithrandir, but could not bring himself to attack Celestai, no matter how much dominance the king had over him. The 'King' was driven off. But after the battle, the mirror in the kings room began glowing, and the spirit of the real king appeared, telling Falyar about the demon which had attacked him and forced him out of his body. He enchanted Torr's Bane, so that Falyar could allow his rage to flow freely into it, to make it flame. They found the king, and in one powerful blow, Falyar beheaded the king.
The Guards, Falyar's crewmen, and the companions who were with him convinced him to accept the title of King, and become King Falyar Tar`en of Khir Khira. Later... Falyar was in The Silver Blade Tavern, enjoying a drink, when a man who had a lot of similarities to Falyar, and who wore a medallion with a snake in the shape of an S on it walked into the tavern and asked if they served 'Greenberry wine', something that Falyar and Erdar used to make as boys. Falyar asked him where he had heard that before, and Erdar told him that he was Falyar's brother. Falyar didn't believe him at first, for his brother was dead... or so he was told. Falyar then believed him, but Erdar attacked Falyar, wanting revenge.
First Erdar used psionics to amplify Falyar's fear of being underground to the point of irrationality... then he cast an illusion, making the tavern look like an underground cavern. Falyar curled up on the ground in fear, helpless. Moriah stepped in and fought with Erdar, stopping the crazed Shom Quai warrior, but exhausting herself in the process. This battle caused her to become crippled, and Mithrandir sought justice against him. Celestai found out what had happened, and helped to locate Erdar, seeking to protect Falyar. He asked her to promise that she wouldn't kill Erdar... for he was Falyar's brother, and Falyar felt that he was just confused.
They tracked Erdar to a forest, and there was a short battle in which Erdar was trapped in Elladan's vines. Falyar stood by his brother, seeking to stop Mithrandir. He freed Erdar, and Erdar regained consciousness. Falyar was ready to fight to the death, and Erdar stood by Falyar, also ready to fight. Celestai then drew Erdar's psi power from him, and Erdar collapsed, which distracted Falyar.
Mithrandir used this to her advantage and stepped in, snapped Erdar's spine, crippling him. Falyar flew into a violent rage, and Torr's Bane flared brighter than it had ever before, the rage channeling back into him, making him go nearly insane. He attacked Mithrandir. She knocked him to the ground, and then in a fit of rage, he threw Torr's Bane deep into the forest, and fled for the Loft. He isolated himself at his spring, in deep depression, and half insanity.
He was there for a long time, nearly starving to death, nearly dying of exhaustion. Moriah came to him, and helped him see that not all was lost. She told Falyar that Celes still loved him, and that Mithrandir held Torr's Bane. She helped him clean himself up, and he went to Mithrandir, retrieving Torr's Bane from her. He found out that Erdar's master, Koyamin Tasaki, had come and in a deal struck with Mithrandir, Erdar was restored... but Erdar was to be punished for his straying from the Shom Quai beliefs, the 'Path of True Greatness'.
Falyar and his brother made peace before Erdar left. There were many events that happened in the days following, Falyar proposed to Celestai, and she accepted, Marauder, now known as Alinar, died, killed by his former ninja clan. And many other minor events occurred.
It was a while after, that the civil war in Elementia began. Falyar agreed to give any help that he could, and Zareth and Ashely Traid, inventor of the Elementian battlemechs, made Falyar's Drakes into mech killing cruise missiles. Then... Tach and Falyar were reunited once again in The Silver Blade Tavern. Tach was confused as to where he was, and Falyar happily took him in. Tach accompanied the warriors in the civil war in Elementia.
The actual fighting in Elementia didn't begin until the Emperor of Elementia learned of their plans all cuz of mithrandir. Around this time, Falyar and the others had enlisted the aid of an Elementian thief named Diana Everette to help them in the downfall of the Emperor. Falyar sent her on a few of his own missions that he had thought would be useful, but during one such mission, she was captured. Falyar insisted that they rescue her, for he felt that he owed her for all that she had done to aid in the war. They entered the city, and found that her hands had been cut off to prevent her from picking the locks. Falyar rescued her, and they fled to the sewers, where they met up with Mithrandir, who restored her hands.
Shortly after they escaped from the sewers with the courageous sacrifice by the Elementian battlemech pilot, Autumn Fyre, Falyar's Loft was destroyed by the emperor. As was Castle Darkshade, which had been finished. Falyar grew enraged, swearing Vengeance on the Emperor, rallying his men. They went to Elementia again, and were ambushed by the Emperor and about 2000 of his soldiers, and a few heavy mechs. Mithrandir nuked them all with her goddess powers. After this battle, Celestai restored Gwen, rightful heir of the throne of Elementia back to life, and anything else that needed to be set to right. She then collapsed, and Falyar carried her back to the portal back home, walking with Mithrandir. It was then that they first discussed the ways of the paladin.
Soon after, Falyar met the final majika, Aimea, who was programmed by Ashley Traid to follow his commands. He tested this command by telling her to restore the Loft, which she did... restoring it the way it was before, crewmembers and all. She then said she had the order to help put Gwen, who was now a prisoner in Elementia of Tyrus II, on the throne.
Falyar, Mithrandir, Lilith and Aimea went back to Elementia and found Gwen and Tyrus. Falyar lost his temper at Tyrus, seeing him as a way to exact revenge for what had happened to the Loft. He allowed Tyrus II to be destroyed, although he was innocent. After this battle, Mithrandir spoke to Falyar again, trying to convince him to learn the ways of the paladin. After much debate, Falyar accepted, taking Mithrandir as his paladin master. It was soon after this that Falyar was given an elementian battlemech by Gwailena Zaratan, now the Empress of Elementia. And soon after, they would return to Khir Khira to end the long war against the sorceror Gandoran, with the aid of the Elementian army.
History was repeated, as they once again had with them the psionist, Aimea, the sorceror, Qynne, the paladin, Mithrandir, the Warrior, Falyar, and the teenaged boy, Tach. They landed at Gandoran's castle, and fought their way inside. They faced off against Gandoran, and after a prolonged battle with the god on his homeplane, managed to destroy him, ending the war, scattering the orcs and goblins once more.
Also around this time, Falyar learned of a murder in his mines. He found that there was a creature that had moved in, deep within his mines... on his first journey into the mines, he went with Lilith, and Celestai. They found merely a few artifacts, but not the cause.
On the second trip down, Falyar was separated from the others, Overon and Lilith, and found his way to the door of 'Charit's Magic and Novelty Shop', but the gargoyle door knocker wouldn't let him in without a glowing gem to entertain it, which he didn't have. It was then that Gwailena Zaratan appeared, and helped Falyar out. She had a gem, and they stepped into the portal. They were somehow reunited with Lilith, and they met the Circle members, Charit of the 3rd Circle, and Rannis of the 4th Circle, both gods, and friends of each other, although Charit kept Rannis in check... Charit told Falyar of the true nature of Torr's Bane... that every time he used its powers his alignment would turn to chaotic evil.
Falyar didn't believe him, and it took Gwen's insults for him to realize the truth in what Charit said. She insulted him to the point where he used a power of Torr's Bane, draining his rage into the intelligent, evil blade. Charit gave Falyar the solution to both kill the creature in the mines, and to rid himself off the blade's control over his mind.
Falyar was given a lens, which would focus the power of his fireblade. Falyar searched the mines, eventually finding the creature, then channeling a powerful fire blast into the lens, which blasted the creature, destroying it, then the shockwave shattering the weapon, nearly destroying Falyar with it. Gwen carried Falyar out of the mines, where he was healed, but still weakened. Gwen collapsed, and nearly died, but Circle member Rannis came by and healed her.
Later on, Gwen replaced Falyar's sabre, Torr's Bane with her old Elementian Bastard Sword. Falyar spoke with Aimea again, learning that Ashley Traid was seeking her out, attempting to shut her down. Falyar gave her his word that he would try and convince Ashley Traid to free her of her control.
Around this time, Falyar spoke to Aimea, asking her not to harm Celestai, who had dominance issues, for she feared the other majika. Aimea created a rod of psychic surgery, which Falyar used to reduce her fear to a point where it was rational. Then he went to work searching for Traid, which he didn't find for quite a while, when a woman named 'Winter Frost' came to take back the majika. Falyar abducted her, and threw her in the brig of his battlemech. Then, after a few maneuvers to elude Kilnightlefoolish, and a couple others, spoke with her, finding out that a killing machine had now been unleashed on the majika. But it had not counted on Aimea, who killed the killing machine. Falyar then asked Aimea for help in the Winter Frost issue. She agreed reluctantly, and threatened Frost that she would be watching. Now Aimea is the only thing which keeps the rest of the majika safe from their creators.
After this occurred, Aimea located Ashley Traid for Falyar, and he drove there in his battlemech. He had his mech tell TRAM, ashley's mech, to wake her up, which it did. Traid deactivated Aimea immediately, but Falyar explained that he needed her activated or Celestai was in danger. She reactivated Aimea, then they argued for a while, eventually finding out that something was blocking Aimea's ability to learn 'forgiveness', or 'sorry'. Ashley told Falyar that she would see what she could do. She fixed this problem, and Falyar fulfilled his word to Aimea. Sometime after this event, Falyar's best friend, Lilith, took her own life drinking Belladonna.
Falyar fell deeply into sorrow, finding solace in the bottle. He became constantly drunk, brooding over Lilith's loss. Lilith had left Falyar her ebony and silver crossbow, and a full quiver of exploding bolts, which he treasures to this day.
Finally, Aimea met up with Falyar, and offered him a chance to speak
with Lilith one last time. Falyar accepted, and she summoned Lilith's spirit.
Lilith said goodbye to Falyar, and he spoke with her... she told him that
she was always watching him. He promised her that all his victories from
now on would be dedicated to her, in her memory. He stopped drinking, and
cleaned himself up, which brings us to the present time...
