Charit of the 3rd Circle is much a mystery. Not even the 1st Circle members know his true origins. His appearance is that of an old man, with long white hair and always dressed in white robes. He carries a long wooden staff, which he uses a lot of the time to aid him in walking, although when he casts magic, he doesn't appear to need it.

He introduced Rannis to the Circle a little over half a millenia ago. He was of the 5th Circle at the time. He guided and protected Rannis, who became his friend and companion, although many mistook Rannis for his familiar, as he was a cat. Rannis set them straight on that, of course.

Charit is almost always good natured, taking Rannis's sarcastic comments and sometimes overly hyperactive nature in stride, the smile never leaving his lips. He advises Rannis from time to time and demonstrates an age far greater than most, although he himself won't say how old he is.

His magic consists mostly of Life and Light magics, with a mixture of transportation spells, and some energy magic thrown in.
